BRENDAN DONNELLY & BENT FUENTES / Music Inspired by China Field Recordings

After spending almost two years traveling throughout China making field recordings of Chinese folk music, Brendan Donnelly and Beñat Fuentes were inspired to create an album of original music influenced by the sounds and people they met. The result is a remarkable piece of work titled ‘Te-Uhinak: Music Inspired by China Field Recordings’. The album includes collaborations with Chinese musicians and features traditional instruments such as ErHu, GuZheng and Dizi as well as Buddhist chanting recorded at LingYin temple Hangzhou China.
