バイーアのアフロ・ブラジリアン・ユニット “グルーポ・オファ” 2019年作は、ジルベルト・ジル、ガル・コスタ、ジョルジ・ベン、マリーザ・モンチ、カルリーニョス・ブラウン、ダニエラ・メルクリ、マルガレッチ・メネーゼス、イヴェッチ・サンガロといった名だたるアーティストをゲストに迎えて制作！“オバタラ” のタイトル通り、ジャケ写のマエ・カルメンが作曲したブラジリアンなヨルバ・ルーツ追求した作となります。

Excellent album of this Group, full of artists from MPB, guests and dropping their voices to praise and reverence the Orixas. Participating Artists: Gilberto Gil, Alcione, Gal Costa, Zeca Pagodinho, Daniela Mercury, Carlinhos Brown, Lazzo Matumbi, Marisa Monte, Jorge Ben Jor, Margareth Menezes, Ivete Sangalo and Matheus. The work totals 17 tracks, mostly in Yoruba and three songs in Portuguese, composed especially for Mae Carmen (Yalorixa do Gantois).
