Electric Extension- Is first of all imagining an orchestra which permits working with the orchestral colours and the association of the original timbres all the while presenting a powerful music that is energetic and electrifying. The use of improvisation is presented with moments of sudden urgency and a tension conducive of a trance, taking time for the melodies to ripen and to follow like threads that would let themselves unravel naturally.
One must listen to the music Electric Extension like an imaginary and intimate travel diary; explorations of a musician’s inner world where the multiple influences that have nourished him are blended to trace his own path, whether that be the freedom of jazz or the energy of rock, the rhythms and the dance of a fantasized Africa, the breath and the wide open spaces of a dreamed North.
